A unique study found that running alone does not reduce weight, but the said exercise prevents weight gain.

It is generally believed that running is the best and easiest way to lose weight, but according to new research, running alone does not reduce weight and especially in older people it does not lose weight at all.

According to research published in the medical journal Frontiers, experts conducted a study on weight loss through running, recruiting athletes, and healthy individuals between the ages of 20 and 80.

Experts divided the volunteers into two different groups, one group of people between the ages of 20 and 39, and the other group of older people, and asked them to do other types of exercise, including jumping, in addition to running.

The experts also conducted various types of tests including an X-ray of the body of all the volunteers and at the end, all the tests were done again.

Research has shown that running alone does not reduce weight while running in people over the age of 65 does not affect their weight.

According to experts, however, running does not increase weight, the weight will remain the same and the overall health of a person improves, blood pressure is also improved along with the reduction of depression.

Experts said that overweight people should do other types of exercise besides running, however, those who do not want to gain more weight can do only running exercise because it does not increase weight.
