Student threatened with lawsuit for tracking Taylor Swift’s private jet

World-famous American singer Taylor Swift has threatened to sue the student who tracked her private jet.

Taylor Swift’s lawyers have threatened to sue her for sharing her flight information online, according to a report by a British news agency.

A student named Jack Sweeney used publicly available data to track the take-offs and landings of celebrity planes and posted them on social media a day later. However, Swift’s lawyers claim that Tracking is synonymous with “stalking”.

Swift’s lawyers issued a cease-and-desist letter to Sweeney, a 21-year-old student at the University of Central Florida, demanding that he stop sharing the location of the private jet.

The letter, issued in December, said the information posed a threat to Swift’s security.

Note that Jack Sweeney has tracked the private flights of several celebrities, including Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.
